The 3 Minute Eyebrow Routine

3 Minute Eyebrow Routine.

Eyebrows are a girl’s best friend (after diamonds and dogs, of course) so it’s worth taking some time in the morning to define your arching triumph. I used the Inika organics brow palette in ‘Amber’. It comes with two brow shades, a brush to fill and a spoolie, plus a brow wax to set.

Step One. Start light, and in the middle.
I like to use a lighter colour to fill the mid brow and arch first. The natural tendency is to fill the start of the brow near the nose first, but this can make your brows turn out too heavy and dark. Start off with the mid brow and arch, then use the leftover product to fill in the start of the brow.

Step Two. Go heavier, but selectively.
Use your darker colour to fill gaps or any areas which didn’t take the lighter colour easily. Add a little at a time as it’s hard to remove colour once it’s applied.

 Step Three: Set and forget.
Use the spoolie and some of the brow wax to set your brows in place and brush any unruly hairs the way you want them to sit. Top Tip: if you have large bald patches on your brows and really struggle to get brow powder to stick, use some wax on the skin before applying colour. Be aware this does darken the resulting colour, so use sparingly!
